For the first time in what seems like forever, I had healthy calves last week! I spent the weekdays running what I was doing in January: 47 miles, 9000ft of climbing. I'd like to handle a bit more in the coming weeks, and fully expect the added benefit of more and more daylight to enable this. The weekend was a bit low due to LA Marathon activities and the need to taper for Old Goats, but I feel ready to race. I consider the course challenging, but definitely within my current fitness level.
