50 minute run on beach (soft/firm/hard)
apparently, the sand has only aggravated my achilles, as now there's a small bump forming, which is code for "stop while you're not in a brace". Pretty frustrating, as now I know there's a smaller chance of being ready for a technical trail race like the World of Hurt.. I also got some nice blood blisters from the sand today and am not sure if I drained them enough.. I think I should consider myself a part-time ultramarathoner and a full time injury sponge. Frustrating times..
